MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State football team has been ranked #1 in the D2Football.com Poll for the third time this season.
Last week, MSU defeated Augustana 38-36 on the road to hold the top spot in the poll.
The Mavericks are one of four NSIC teams in the top-25. Winona State jumped to the 10th spot in the poll after defeating Sioux Falls, while USF fell to 23rd. Minnesota Duluth improved to 20th after its win over MSU Moorhead.
Minnesota State continues its season at home this Saturday as it hosts Concordia-St. Paul at Blakeslee Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
