MANKATO, Minn. --- Minnesota State women's hockey hits the road in a nonconference series against Robert Morris. The series will start on Friday at 6:05 p.m. (ET) and concludes on Saturday at 1:05 p.m. (ET). Games will be played at Colonial Arena.
Minnesota State All-Time: The MSU women's hockey program, started in 1998-99. is currently in its 21st season of competition and has compiled a 180-469-58 (.296) record in 707 total games played. The Mavericks are in their 20th year as members of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and hold a 113-372-47 (.257) in 532 games played.
Last Time on the Ice: Minnesota State (4-5-1, 2-5-1-1 WCHA) hosted #1 Wisconsin on Nov. 2-3 at Verizon Center. The Mavericks dropped both games, 2-1 on the 2nd and 2-0 on the 3rd.
Wisconsin picked up the first two goals of the game on Friday, Nov. 2 before Minnesota State scored in the third period. Freshman

Mariah Gardner assisted on the play. The Mavericks were unable to tie the score up, however before the final horn blew.
On Saturday, Nov. 3, the Mavericks were shutout for the first time at home this season. The Badgers scored a goal in both the first and second periods. Freshman
Anna Wilgren lead the way for the Mavericks defensively, totalling nine blocked shots in two games.
In net,
Abigail Levy started both games for the Mavericks  making 59 saves on 63 opportunities, for a save percentage of .937. Levy was also honored with the WCHA Goaltender of the Month for the first time in her career for the months of Sept./Oct.
Scouting Robert Morris: The Colonials (6-6-1, 4-1-1-0 CHA) went 0-1-1 in a home series with #10 Colgate last weekend. RMU lost 3-4 last Friday and tied 2-2 in overtime last Saturday. Robert Morris is currently 3-3-2 in its home arena this season and is currently receiving votes in the USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Polls.
The Colonials offense features junior Jaycee Gebhard, who leads RMU and the College Hockey of America conference with 19 points this season (9-10--19). Sophomore Lexi Templeman also sits in third of the CHA conference with 12 points (2-10--12).Â
In net, the Colonials feature senior Lauren Bailey, who has started 12 of their 14 total games this season. Bailey holds a 2.14 goals-against average, Â a .904 save percentage and has 236 saves so far this season. She has collected two shutouts so far this season.
Facing Robert Morris: All-time, the Mavericks are 3-5-1 against the Colonials, dating back to 2006. The last time the two teams met was Oct. 6-7, 2017 when RMU won both games 2-1 and 6-2 at Verizon Center.
Looking Ahead: The Mavericks will be on the road again in another nonconference matchup. On Nov. 23-24, Minnesota State will head to St. Charles, Mo., to take on Lindenwood. Both games will being at 2:07 p.m.
