MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State volleyball team has announced its 2017 schedule.
The 28-match schedule will feature 10 home matches at Taylor Center. Nonconference play this season will include two tournaments at Wayne, Mich., and Aberdeen, S.D., with eight teams from five conferences.
Minnesota State will then open up a 20-match conference schedule with its first home contest of the season vs. Winona State on Sept. 14 at 6:00 p.m. The home schedule will also include an Oct. 31 encounter with defending national champion Concordia-St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. The Mavericks will conclude the home regular season action vs. Northern State on Nov. 4 at 2:00 p.m.
Minnesota State is coming off its third straight appearance in the NSIC Tournament as it finished the regular season with a 16-12 (10-10 NSIC) overall record last season.
