MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State volleyball team is set to travel to Minot State on Friday at 6:00 p.m. The Mavericks will then wrap up regular season play at U-Mary on Saturday. First serve is set scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
Mavericks at a Glance: Minnesota State enters the week with a 13-13 (7-11 NSIC) record. The Mavericks went 1-2 last week with losses to No. 1 Concordia-St. Paul and No. 7 Northern State. The week was highlighted by a 3-0 win over MSU Moorhead which was Minnesota State's ninth sweep of the season.

Sydney Powell sets the pace for the Mavericks with a team-best 227 (2.80/s) kills this season. Freshman
Micayla Porter is passing out a team-high 518 (5.69/s) assists while freshman
Mara Quam is notching 391 (4.30/s) digs on the defensive end.
By the Numbers: As a team this season, Minnesota State has compiled 12.7 kills per set in comparison to its opponents' 11.5. Additionally, the Mavericks add 12.0 assists per set to go along with 14.2 digs per set.
Servin' Aces: Minnesota State totaled 12 service aces last weekend and lead the NSIC with 167 (1.84/s) this season. Freshman
Micayla Porter totaled four service aces last week and leads the Mavericks with 41 total which ranks third in the NSIC.
Having a Weekend: Freshman
Alivia Garbe posted a team-high 33 kills last weekend with a .333 kill percentage. Her weekend was highlighted by a season-high 16 kill performance against MSU Moorhead. Garbe also contributed 17 digs on the defensive end of the floor.

On the Defensive End: Freshman
Mara Quam led the Mavericks with 43 digs last weekend. She has reached double-figures in digs 22 times this season.
Scouting Minot State: Minot State is located in Minot, N.D., and has an overall record of 5-22 (1-17 NSIC) on the season. The Beavers have dropped their last three matches and most recently fell to No. 25 Upper Iowa, 3-0. The Beavers are led by first year head coach Dana Cordova.
Earlier this season, Minnesota State topped Minot State, 3-0, at Taylor Center. The Mavericks lead the all-time series, 6-1.
Sophomore Shelby Spuller paces the Beavers offensively with 285 (3.17/s) kills this season. Junior Kelsey Dewulf has handed out a team-high 779 (8.75/s) assists this season while freshman Karli Koza contributes a team-best 466 (5.18/s) digs.
Scouting U-Mary: U-Mary is located in Bismarck, N.D., and enters the week with a 8-19 (4-14 NSIC) overall record. The Marauders are currently on a two match losing streak and most recently were swept by Winona State, 3-0. U-Mary is led by head coach Thais Franca who is in her third season at the helm.
Earlier this season, the Mavericks blanked the Marauders, 3-0, at Taylor Center. Minnesota State leads the all-time series, 14-0.
Senior Randall Lauren is contributing a team-best 384(4.36/s) kills this season. Junior Amanda Lopes is passing out 710 (9.22/s) assists while junior Almeida Geovana rounds out the top performers with 307 (3.34/s) digs .
