MANKATO, Minn. ---  The Minnesota State women's basketball team is set to take on Minot State on Friday at 6:00 p.m. The Mavericks will then close the weekend against Mary. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

Scouting Minot State: Minot State is located in Minot, N.D., and has an overall record of 3-13 and 1-9 NSIC record. The Beavers enter the week on a three game losing skid most recently dropping a 76-66 decision against Northern State. Minot State is led by head coach Sheila Green Gerding who is in her 22nd season. 
The last time these two schools met, Minnesota State edged Minot State on the road, 61-60, after Claire Ziegler was able to connect the game-winning layup with .09 seconds remaining. The Mavericks lead the all-time series, 5-0.
As a team this season, Minot State is netting 63.3 points per game in comparison to its opponents' 74.6. Additionally, the Beavers are totaling 35.9 rebounds and 11.6 assists per contest.

Scouting Mary: Mary is located in Bismarck, N.D., and has an overall record of 9-9 and 4-6 NSIC record. In their most recent game, the Marauders fell to MSU Moorhead, 73-53. Mary is led by head coach Rick Neumann who is in his fifth season at the helm. 
The last time these two schools met, Minnesota State fell to Mary, 79-68, in Bismarck. Since 2012, the Mavericks are 5-1 against the Marauders and lead the all time series, 9-2. 
As a team this season, Mary is totaling 62.3 points in comparison to its opponents' 65.5. Additionally, the Marauders are pulling down 36.2 rebounds and adding 12.1 assists per game this season. 
Senior Hannah Larson leads the Marauders in both scoring (13.7 ppg) and in rebounding (7.7 rbg). Redshirt freshman Gabbie Bohl rounds out the top performers netting 11.9 points per game.
