MANKATO, Minn. --- The Minnesota State University volleyball team is set to close out the regular season at home against Bemidji State on Friday at 7:00 p.m. The Mavericks will then host Minnesota Crookston on Senior Day with first serve set for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Hot Streak: Minnesota State won five straight matches and matched their longest NSIC winning streak since the 2011 season which included an upset win over No. 13 Northern State.
Scouting Bemidji State: Bemidji State is located in Bemidji, Minn., and has an overall record of 7-20 and 3-15 conference record. The Beavers are members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Bemidji State enters the week on a seven match losing streak and has not won a road contest this season. In their most recent match, the Beavers fell to Upper Iowa, 3-2, in Bemidji, Minn. BSU is led by head coach Kevin Ulmer, who is in his first season.
Earlier this season, Minnesota State swept Bemidji State, 3-0, in Bemidji, Minn. The Mavericks lead the all-time series, 34-17. Since 2006, Minnesota State is 11-1 against the Beavers.
