Mankato, Minn. -- In the first ever meeting between No. 13 Minnesota State and Minot State, six Mavericks recorded falls in a 54-0 rout of MISU - two of which came under 0:30 seconds. MSU now stands at 5-3 overall and 2-0 in NSIC action.

David Demo (125 lbs) won by forfeit and freshman
Alphonso Vruno (133 lbs) won a 10-5 decision,
Drew Lexvold and
Thomas Allen recorded back-to-back falls at 141-lbs and 149-lbs.
Freshman Sawywer Hoffman (157 lbs) won a 4-2 decision before MSU won four of the last five matches by pins. Senior
Aaron Norgren also won by forfeit at 184-lbs.
Returning All-American
Cody Quinn (165 lbs) started the dominating stretch for MSU with a fall at 2:56. Junior
Brendan Eichmann (174 lbs) followed Quinn's fall up with a pin of his own at 3:49.

Nathan Haynes (197 lbs) and junior
Corby Running (285 lbs) each recorded pins following Norgren's forfeit at 197-lbs. Haynes' fall came at 2:13, while Running's came at 0:16.
