What Lies Ahead: The Minnesota State men's basketball team, ranked #4 in the latest NABC Division II poll wraps up a four-game homestand this weekend with tilts against Minnesota, Crookston (Friday, 8 p.m.) and MSU Moorhead (Saturday, 8 p.m.).

Get To Know The Golden Eagles: Minnesota Crookston enters the weekend owners of a 3-16 record, including a 0-13 league tally. The Golden Eagles have dropped their last 15 games and are averaging 64.6 points per game and allowing 79.5 As a team, UMC is shooting 44.4 percent from the floor and 31.7 percent from outside the three point line. UMC is being outrebounded by a 5.3 margin this season.
The Golden Eagles have been without the services of their leading scorer, Akeem Cubie since their eighth game of the season due to an injury. As a team, MSUM is averaging 67.8 points per game while allowing 73.1. The Dragons are shooting 42.3 percent from the floor and are outrebounding their opponents by 2.7 rebounds per game.
