Minnesota State to Face Southwest Minnesota State on the Road

A look Ahead: The Minnesota State volleyball squad (24-4 and 14-2 NSIC) will continue Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference competition this week when they travel to face fellow NSIC member Southwest Minnesota State. The match will take place Saturday afternoon in Marshall, Minn. and will start at 3:00 p.m. A win would give the Mavericks the third most wins in a single season in school history.

Mavericks Last Action: The Minnesota State Mavericks opened the week when they played host to the Bemidji State Beavers Friday night and improved their record to 23-4 overall and 13-2 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. MSU defeated the Beavers by scores of 30-28, 27-25 and 25-20.
The Minnesota State Mavericks finished the week by hosting #11 Minnesota Duluth Saturday afternoon and defeated the Bulldogs 3-1. MSU was victorious by scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-23.
