Kimberly Kuhl (Chaska, Minn.) earned a team best 16 kills on 24 attempts, giving her a team best .542 hitting percentage. Junior outside hitter
Amanda Beekman (Marshall, Minn.) also participated in the attack earning 13 kills. Setting up the hitters for the evening was sophomore setter
Brittany Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) who earned 50 assists in the five-set victory.
On defense, the leader in protecting the net for the match was junior middle blocker
Amanda Thompson (Stewartville, Minn.) earning a team-high five blocks. Teammate, Kuhl joined in on the block attack earning four, respectively. Freshman defensive specialist
Samantha Dale (Alexandria, Minn.) earned a team high of 15 digs.
The Maverick volleyballers, 22-4 overall and 12-2 NSIC, will continue action next weekend, when they play host to Bemidji State, Friday evening at 7:00 p.m.
