Maverick Women Continue WCHA Play at Ohio State October 30-31

Mankato, Minn.--- The Minnesota State women’s hockey team continues conference play next weekend at Ohio State University. Friday and Saturday contests will both be played at 7:07 p.m. (est.) at the OSU Ice Rink.

About Ohio State: The Buckeyes are 1-2-3 on the season after traveling to Bemidji, Minn. for their first WCHA series of the year. Ohio State finished the weekend 1-0-1. Ohio State defeated Bemidji State 5-2 in Friday’s contest, then tied the Beavers in Saturday’s game. Ohio State is led by sophomore forward Melissa Feste (3-3--6), freshman forward Minttu Tuominen (3-3--6), sophomore forward Natalie Spooner (2-4--6) and senior forward Raelyn LaRocque (1-5--6).

MSU/Ohio State History: The Mavericks are 7-33-4 all-time against Ohio State.In last years contests, Minnesota State a 2-1-1 record against the Buckeyes. The two victories came from a sweep at Ohio State.
