Malcolm Henry joined the Minnesota State staff in the Spring of 2025 as the Running Backs Coach and is entering his fourth season of Coaching, third offensively.
Prior to joining the Mavericks, Henry was the Running Backs Coach at Slippery Rock University, helping the team to a Semi Final appearance in the 2024 National Playoffs and a Quarterfinals appearance in the 2023 National Playoffs.
• During the 2024 season he guided the SRU running backs to a total of 1,850 rushing yards and 12 TDs, averaging 5 yards per carry on 346 attempts.
• Henry helped lead Chris D'or to first team AII-PSAC Honors and Idris Lawrence to second team AII-PSAC Honors in 2024. D'or totaled 1,013 All-Purpose yards and 6 TDs, Lawrence totaled 1,224 All-Purpose yards and 6 TDS.
• Prior to the 2024 Season, Henry guided the SRU running backs to a total of 2,590 rushing yards and 42 rushing TDs in 2023.
• SRU averaged 5.4 yards per carry on 484 attempts in 2023.
• Henry helped lead Khalid Dorsey to first team AII-PSAC honors after rushing for 984 yards and 12 TDs in 2023.

CAREER PATH
Began coaching career at Susquehanna University where he assisted with the River Hawks' defensive backs in 2022. Susquehanna went 10-1 and qualified for the NCAA Division 111 playoffs in Henry's lone season with the program. Susquehanna ranked 38th out of 238 DIII teams in interceptions.
ATHLETIC CAREER
• After a standout prep career at Delsea High School, Henry began collegiate career in 2017 as a linebacker at Muhlenberg College where he played in 16 games over two seasons.
• Transferred to The College of New Jersey for the remainder of college career.
PERSONAL
• Native of Pittsgrove, New Jersey
• Received a bachelor's degree in communications with a concentration in radio, television and film from The College of New Jersey.
