Dr. Jeffrey Pribyl, Minnesota State’s faculty athletic representative to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, the Central Collegiate Hockey Association and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, is a faculty member in the Department of Chemistry and Geology.
A 1981 graduate of St. John’s (Minn.), he earned a master’s from Purdue in 1984 and a Ph. D. from Purdue in 1988. A full-time MSU faculty member since 1989, Dr. Pribyl became FAR for the Mavericks in November of 2000. In the fall of 2019 Dr. Pribyl was named the recipient of the Jim Schaffer Award, an honor presented to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to Minnesota State Athletics.
Presented with the North Central Conference Legacy Award in 2008, Jeff and his wife, Karen, live in Mankato and have two sons, Grant and Blake.
