Minnesota State University - Mankato Athletics

Chance Bowen was named the team's defensive ends coach in March 2023.

The 2023 season saw Bowen work with the defensive ends, including Maven Kretche who went on to claim All-NSIC First Team honors, to go along with AFCA All-American accolades

Prior to joining the Maverick coaching staff, Bowen played four seasons with the Mavericks (2017-22). As a sophomore in 2018, Bowen claimed D2CCA All-American Second Team honors as he led the team in sacks with 11 and finished second on the team in tackles for loss with 12.
