Minnesota State University - Mankato Athletics

Braylon Henderson begins his first year at Minnesota State as wide receivers coach.  He had a standout career at North Dakota State as a wide receiver winning three national titles at the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level graduating in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in university studies.  

While at NDSU, he played in 73 games, caught four touchdowns on 84 catches for 1,152 yards from 2019-2024 and won national championships  in 2019, 2021 and 2024.  He also had one punt return touchdown and one rushing score for his career.  He was a team captain and was selected to the Team Leadership Council for four years as he collaborated with coaches and players to uphold team standards and address team needs.  He was an AFCA Allstate Good Works Team nominee in 2023.  

A native of Plano, Texas, Henderson attended Plano East High School where he he was a three time letterwinner in both football and track, while earning all-district honors twice in football.  He recorded 2,140 career receiving yards, 18 touchdown receptions and two punt returns for scores, while being a two time team captain.
