Brady Schlaeger joined the Maverick football coaching staff in June 2025 as the Defensive Tackles Coach.
Prior to joining the Maverick coaching staff, Schlaeger played four seasons at Morningside University (2021-2024). He helped his team win an NAIA National Championship in 2021, and an NAIA National semifinal appearance in 2024. He also was named team captain in the 2024 season for the Mustangs and earned GPAC All-Conference Honorable Mention.
A native of Spencer, Iowa, Schlaeger graduated from Morningside in the Fall of 2024 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in sports management and marketing. Schlaeger is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Sports Management at Minnesota State.
