Before joining MSU's wrestling staff in November of 2011, Adam Aho worked with Competitive Edge Sports Camps in Kimball, Minn. He also served as an assistant coach with the high school programs in Kimball (2010-11) and Becker (2009-10) and has extensive experience as a camp clinician.
A four-year wrestling letterwinner and starter at North Dakota State from 2004-09, Aho was team captain for the Bison as a senior. Aho, who sported a 38-28 dual record during his college career and finished fourth at the NCAA West Regional as a junior at 157 pounds, was a two-time Western Wrestling Conference Coaches’ Honor Roll honoree (2008, 2009).
He was a three-time state of Minnesota Class A place winner (state champion in 2004, third-place in 2003 and second-place in 2001) as a prep athlete for Frazee High School.
