2016 Indoor: Season best time of 58.20 in the 400-meter dash at the SDSU Indoor Classic... Was a part of the third place 4x400-meter relay team at the conference meet... Won the MSU Alumni Open in the 400-meters... Persoanl best time of 27.07 in the 200-meter dash at the MSU-Chuck Peterson Open.
2014-15 Indoor: Placed first at the MSU Alumni Open in the 400-meters with a time of 59.26.
High School: Attended Sioux Falls Christian High School...Was apart of a Charger squad that was state champs in both the 4x200 relay (state record time of 1:44.71) and sprint medley (state record time 4:14)...Overall, three-time state champion in the 4x200 relay and twice a state champion in 4x400 relay...School record holder in 100-meters (12.3) and 200-meters (25.3)...Class A All-Track South Dakota.
Personal: Born Oct. 18, 1995...Daughter of Galen and Sharon Smidt...Proposed dietetics major.
