Williams was a standout tennis player during his four seasons at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology and with former North Central Conference rival South Dakota State where he consistently played in the top flight for singles and doubles matches.
A two time NCC singles champion, Williams finished his 1995 season with an undefeated record and graduated with NCC all-Academic Honors in pharmacy.
Williams is working as a pharmacist for the state of Minnesota and is entering his second season as the head coach for the Mankato East varsity boy’s men’s tennis team. He is also in his second year as a member of the MSU tennis staff.
