2023-24: Earned All-NSIC honors in the both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events as she finished third on both events with scores of 395.55 and 405.80, respectively…Named the NSIC Diver of the Week once…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and to the CSC Academic All-District Team…Advanced to the NCAA Championships where she finished 14th in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 389.10 and 15th in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 364.50.

2022-23: Was named the NSIC Diver of the Week three times…Claimed All-NSIC honors in the 1-meter diving event as she finished third with a score of 420.30…Also finished fifth in the 3-meter diving event at the NSIC Championships with a score of 402.20…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and to the CSC Academic All-district Team…Competed in the NCAA Qualification meet where she finished 22nd in the 1-meter (213.90) and 20th in the 3-meter (224.95) diving events.  

2021-22: Was named the NSIC Diver of the Week twice…Finished fourth in the 1-meter diving event at the NSIC Championships with a score of 408.60 and fifth in the 3-meter diving event with a score of 383.40…Finished in 17th place in the 3-meter diving event at the NCAA Championships with a score of 372.55 and 13th in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 385.25.

High School: Four-year varsity letterwinner...Finished in fourth place at state as a freshman and junior and third place as a senior...Broke two school records (6 and 11 dives)...Named a team captain and was named to the honor roll.

Personal: Sydney is the daughter of Jennifer and Matthew Hanson...Majoring in alcohol and drug studies... Enjoys volunteering, reading, journaling, long boarding.
