Biography
2023-24: Recorded season bests in the 50 freestyle (25.36), 100 freestyle (55.74), 100 backstroke (1:02.04) and the 100 IM (1:03.47) at the Augie Invitational.
High School: Earned six All-Big 9 conference honors at Mankato West and was a five-time state qualifier...Took 12th in the 100 backstroke and 14th in the 100 freestyle at the state meet during her senior season...Qualified for the state meet in the 50 and 100 freestyle events as an eighth grader, freshman and sophomore...Also competed in the 200 freestyle at the state meet as a seventh grader...Named to the National Honor Society.
Personal: Sophia is the daughter of Michael and Beth Leonard...Majoring in nursing.Â
