2014-15: Took 14th place in the 200-yard butterfly event at the Border Battle…Finished in 13th place in the 50-yard freestyle against Gustavus Adolphus and St. Cloud State.

High School: Competed in the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard IM events at Hibbing High School.

Personal: Samantha is the daughter of Daniel and Diane Bird.
