Biography
At MSU: Sits third on the school’s 1,000-Free list and is fifth on the 1,650-Free list.
2008-09: Against UW-Eau Claire had a pair of third-place finishes in the 200-yard freestyle and the 500-yard freestyle... Against St. Cloud State finished third in the 1,000-yard freestyle and fourth in the 500-yard freestyle... Had a first-place finish against Gustavus Adlophus College in the 1,000-yard freestyle... At the Conference Championships she finished 13th in the 400-yard IM, 12th in the 1,650-yard freestyle, and eighth in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
2007-08: Active participant in several events for the season…Recorded a second place finish in 200-yard freestyle (2:04.07) against Luther College…Finished second in the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.96) against Northern Iowa…Received 16th-place in 500-yard freestyle and 12th-place in 200-yard backstroke at 2008 NCC Championships...Named to the NCC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
2006-07: Recorded three second-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke during the season…Swam a personal-best 1:11.53 in the 100-yard breaststroke against Luther…Finished 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke as a participant in the NCC Finals…Also a top finisher in the 200-yard breaststroke during the 2006-07 season…Recorded a season-best time of 2:33.99 in the 200-yard breaststroke at the 2007 Pointer Invite.
High School: Four year state qualifier in the 100 breaststroke and in the 200 IM… Four year letter winner… Competed in swimming and track for Mason City High School.
Personal: Daughter of Wade and Gayle Busch… Born August 20, 1988… Majoring in chemistry at MSU.
