Biography
2017-18: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team... Turned in a time of 25.39 in the 50 freestyle at the NSIC Championshiops... Posted a time of 1:59.70 in the 200 freestyle and a 5:29.02 in the 500 freestyle.
2016-17: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Turned in a time of 56.17 in the 100 freestyle at the NSIC Championships…Posted a time of 5:33.63 in the 500 freestyle at the NSIC Championships.
2015-16: Finished in fifth place in the 1,000-yard freestyle event against MSU Moorhead with a time of 11:58.57 and finished 33rd at the NSISC Championships with a time of 11:15.03…took 24th place in the 1,650-yard freestyle event at the NSISC Championships with a time of 19:02.62…Named to the NSISC All-Academic Team.
High School:Â At the 2014 Speedo Champions Series, Banwart claimed 3rd in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 57.17...Was a state championship meet qualifier for Cedar Falls High School and the Black Hawk Area swim team...Banwart was also named team captain her senior year.

Personal:Â Lexi is the daughter of Lance and Christy Banwart...Born January 21, 1996...She is pursuing a degree in exercise science with a minor in psychology.
