Biography
2015-16: Finished in seventh place against Gustavus Adolphus in the 50-yard backstroke (33.69) and 50-yard freestyle events (27.05)…Competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke events at the NSISC Championships.
2014-15: Named a NSISC Scholar Athlete…Placed eighth in the 50-yard freestyle against MSU Moorhead with a time of 27.43…Took third place in the 100-yard freestyle against Northern Michigan with a time of 1:00.11.
High School: Advanced to the state high school meet for three years as a member of the Richfield High School swim team...Won a section championship during her junior season in the 50-yard freestyle.
Personal: Kinya is the daughter of Chuck and Angie Gilbert...Born September 13, 1995...Majoring in elementary education.
