Biography
At MSU: Sits first on the school’s 50-yard freestyle list (23.81), first on the 100-yard freestyle list (52.17).
2008-09: Had second-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle against Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Olaf College, and UW-Stevens Point... Finished first in the 50-yard freestyle against South Dakota... Also finished first in the 50-yard freestyle as well as the 100-yard freestyle against Northern Iowa... At the Conference Championships she placed seventh in the 100-yard freestyle and fourth in the 50-yard freestyle... She competed at the National Championships and placed 22nd in the 50-yard freestyle... Earned All-American honors for being part of 200-yard medley relay team that finished seventh, 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished seventh, and the 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished 15th all at Nationals.
2007-08: Redshirted...Was named to the NCC Commissinoer’s Academic Honor Roll.
2006-07: Claimed first in a pair of 50-yard freestyle races…Recorded a personal-best time of :24.15 in the 50-yard freestyle at the 2006 Mutual of Omaha Invite…Swam to a personal-best time of 55.44 on the way to a first place finish in the 100-yard freestyle vs. Gustavus Adolphus.
High School: 2006 All State Honorable Mention in the 50 free… Four-time letter winner… Three-time letter winner in track.
Personal: Daughter of Arden and Carol Christensen… Born September 30, 1987…Elementary education major.
