Biography
2021-22: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Recorded 273 points in the 1-meter diving event and 144.80 points in the 3-meter diving event at the JoAnn Andregg Invite.
2020-21: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence…Took seventh place in the 1-meter diving event at the NSIC Championships with a score of 346.65…Also finished eighth in the 3-meter diving event at the conference championships with a score of 321.30.
2019-20: Took sixth place in both the 1-meter (179.60) and 3-meter (151.10) diving events against South Dakota…At the NSIC Championships, she finished in 11th place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events with scores of 293.25 and 252.45, respectively.
High School: Nine-time qualifier for Michigan State Championships in gymnastics...Level 9 regional gymnastics qualifier...An Honor roll recipient throughout her high school career and is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
Personal: Kayla is the daughter of Sue and Joe Joye...Majoring in speech pathology.
