Biography

2022-23: Recorded a personal best of 2:32.85 in the 200 breaststroke at the Augustana Invitational…Tallied three season bests in the 100 freestyle (57.40), the 100 breaststroke (1:09.09) and the 100 IM (1:04.21) at the NSIC Championships…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2021-22: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence…Posted a personal best in the 100 IM at the NSIC Championships with a time of 1:03.20.

2020-21: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Recorded a time of 1:10.56 in the 100 breaststroke and a time of 2:37.77 in the 200 breaststroke at the NSIC Championships.

2019-20: Posted a time of 2:35.13 in the 200 breaststroke at the Rochester Invite…Finished with a time of 1:03.49 in the 100 IM at the NSIC Championships.

High School: MSHL State qualifier and finalist in the 100 breastroke and Section 1A champion in 200 IM...Big9 Conference Champion in 50 freestyle (2016)...Was a 2018 Winter Speedo Sectionals qualifier...Was voted the ‘most valuable’ and ‘most inspirational’ swimmer by her teammates and was the 2018 captain of her high school swimming team.  

Personal: Emily is the daughter of Jennifer and Craig Taylor and is majoring in elementary education.
