Biography
2016-17: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Posted a time of 2:31.66 in the 200 breaststroke at the NSIC Championships and a time of 1:10.33 in the 100 breaststroke.
2015-16: Finished ninth in the 200-yard breaststroke event against Gustavus Adolphus and UW Stevens Point with a time of 2:40.29…Named to the NSISC All-Academic Team…Took eighth place in both the 200-yard breaststroke (2:38.21) and the 400-yard IM (5:03.35) against MSU Moorhead.
High School: Competing in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke, and the 100 and 200-yard IM, Sjolander was a finalist at the sectional meet for the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons...She received varsity letters in swimming all four years and competed at the 2014 state championship meet...Named team captain her senior year.
Personal: Emily is the daughter of Tony and Diane Sjolander...Born November 25, 1996...She is currently undecided on a major.
