Biography
2025-26: Competed in nine of MSU’s meets during the season…Took second place in the 200 backstroke in MSU’s double dual with Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stevens Point with a time of 2:14.14…Notched season bests in the 100 backstroke (58.61) and the 100 butterfly (59.22) at the NSIC Championships…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.
2024-25: Won the 200 backstroke at the Rochester Invite with a time of 2:10.41…Won the 200 butterfly event vs. Concordia-St. Paul and Southwest Minnesota State with a time of 2:11.06…Took third place in both the 200 backstroke (2:08.65) and the 200 butterfly (2:13.06) events against Augustana…Finished in 11th place in both the 200 backstroke (2:07.47) and the 200 butterfly (2:13.77) events at the NSIC Championships.
High School: Was a two-time all-conference honoree as a freshman and sophomore.
Personal: Ellie is the daughter of Tania and Jeremy Ricken...She intends to major in biology.
