High School: Was a four-year letter winner in both swimming and track…Set indoor freshman/sophomore shot put record as a freshman with a throw of 33’9 ½”…Qualified for state senior year in both swimming and discus…Was a team captain for both swimming and track during junior and senior seasons as well as team MVP for track her senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Stephanie Balza…Born 10/20/1990…Majoring in Exercise Science at MSU.
