Biography
2021-22: Earned four All-NSIC honors at the NSIC Championships in the 200 freestyle relay (1st), the 100 backstroke (2nd), 200 backstroke (1st) and 400 freestyle relay (1st)…Posted a personal best times of 55.67 and 2:01.20 in the 100 and 200 backstroke events at the NSIC Championships…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and received the NSIC Myles Brand Academic Award…Named the NSIC Swimmer of the Week…Competed in four events at the NCAA Championships, including the 200 freestyle relay, the 400 freestyle relay, the 100 backstroke and the 200 backstroke.
2020-21: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence…Was a member of the 800 freestyle relay team that finished first at the NSIC Championships (7:38.68)…Was a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished first at the NSIC Championships (1:43.78)…Won the 200 backstroke at the NSIC Championships with a time of 2:02.50…Also claimed All-NSIC honors as a member of the 400 medley relay team that finished second at the NSIC Championships (3:50.87)…Took fourth place in the 200 freestyle at the NSIC Championships with a time of 1:53.47.
2019-20: Claimed a pair of All-NSIC honors and the NSIC Championships as she won the 200 backstroke event with a time of 2:03.45 and finished second as a member of the 400 medley relay team with a time of 3:53.08…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team/Team of Excellence…Took fifth place in the 100 backstroke with a time of 57.36 at the conference championships, to go along with an eighth place finish the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:52.24…Won the 200 backstroke event at the Rochester Invite with a time of 2:04.30.
2018-19: Swam with the 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams at the NCAA Championships…Took fourth place in the 200 backstroke at the NSIC Championships with a time of 2:03.24…Also finished in ninth place in the 100 butterfly (57.92) at the NSIC Championships…Posted a season-best time of 25.24 in the 50 freestyle against Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stevens Point.
Prior to Minnesota State: A native of La Crosse, Wis., Enervold posted a personal best time of 57.80 in the 100-yard butterfly and placed 11th at the USA WI Short Course State Championships in 2017...She went on to drop even more time two weeks later at the YMCA WI SC State Championships, placing second in the 200-yard backstroke, third in the 500-yard freestyle, sixth in the 100-yard backstroke and 7th in the 100-yard butterfly...Enervold was also a three-time YMCA National SC Championship Qualifier, most recently in the 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke and 200-yard freestyle...She holds numerous records at the La Crosse Area Family YMCA, including top times in the 100-butterfly, 500-yard freestyle, and 800-yard freestyle relay.
Personal: Anja is the daughter of Scott and Sue Enervold...Born May 18, 2000...Majoring in Exercise Science/Pre Occupational Therapy.
