Biography
2016-17: Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team…Notched a time of 1:02.90 in the 100 IM at the NSIC Championships.
2015-16: Finished in ninth place in the 100-yard backstroke event at the UW-Stevens Point Invite with a time of 1:03.85…Named to the NSISC All-Academic Team…Finished in sixth place in the 1,000-yard freestyle (12:20.99) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:18.81) events against MSU Moorhead…Took fifth place against MSU Moorhead in the 100-yard backstroke event with a time of 1:03.87.
High School: Goergen attended numerous meets held at the University of Minnesota pool, and focused on her sprint freestyle and butterfly...Goergen swam for the Coulee Region Swim Club where she competed in the Midwest Regional meet...She was named her club team’s captain in 2013 and 2014.
Personal: Alison is the daughter of Dan and Melisa Goergen. Born June 26, 1997. She will be pursuing a major in nursing at Minnesota State.
