High School: A midfielder from Queen Creek, Arizona, Sydney Droen played soccer at Crimson High school and was named all-state, all-region and Arizona player of the year as a junior...She was named Arizona 4A Regional first team and region player of the year, Arizona 4A conference first team, and was nominated as finalist for USA Today/Arizona High School Player of the Year.

Personal: Syd is daughter of Angie and Dan Droen...Her father played soccer at St. Olaf College...She intends to study Business at MSU.
