High School: Burandt was a four-year letterwinner and starter for the Scarlets...Led Mankato West to a fourth-place state tournament finish, its best ever, and set a school record with 31 goals as a senior which led the state...The two-time All Big-Nine selection was named honorable mention all-state as a junior and first team all-state as a senior after breaking the school’s career goals record with 74.
