High School: McAlpine was a four-time Suburban East All-Conference recipient hailing from Mounds View High School where she led the Mustangs to a 15-5-1 overall record and a 7-2-0 conference record...She finished her senior year starting 21 games resulting in 1,675 minutes while accumulating a terrific 1.43 goals-against average to go along with a .856 save percentage and 178 saves on the year...Her fantastic senior year was enough to gather her second career nod for the All-State Team and All-Tournament Team following her impressive play in the 2021 Suburban East Conference Tournament.

Personal: Lauren is the daughter of Chris and Tina McAlpine...Her father, Chris, played hockey at the University of Minnesota and played in the NHL for eight seasons...At Mounds View High School, Lauren was a Mustang Mentor for incoming freshman students.
