High School: A native to Mankato, Minn., Huettl attended Mankato East where she displayed nothing but excellence for the Cougars since the seventh grade...Prior to her freshman year at Mankato East, Huettl was named to the Mankato’s All-City team while receiving all-conference honors in eighth grade...By her senior season, the Mankato soccer star has racked up a Mankato East record 79 career goals resulting in five straight Big Nine All-Conference teams while being named to two All-State first teams.

Personal: Ella is the daughter of Nate and Jenn Huettl...Her mother, Jenn, and relatives Lindsey Huettl and Jan Huettl all graduated from MSU, with Lindsey also playing soccer for MSU.
