Cooper Jones is entering his second season with Maverick Soccer. He assists the coaching staff throughout the Fall and Spring seasons. Cooper plays a role in recruiting, opponent scouting, practice setup, film breakdown, and more. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Sport Management at Minnesota State with plans to finish in the Spring of 2027.Â
Prior to Minnesota State, Cooper earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, Morris. During his time in Morris, Cooper was a member of the Cougar Men's Soccer and a two-year captain. He recorded 74 starts and 3 All-Conference awards, in addition to being named the Cougar Men's Honor Athlete his senior year for his dedication and excellence on the field and in the classroom. Cooper recorded one professional appearance in July of 2025 with Vandalia CF in Spain and is currently playing in the UPSL.Â
