2013: Started all 20 matches she played in and totaled 1,817 minutes played, fourth-most on the squad...Scored the game-tying goal vs. UMD in the NSIC championship on Nov. 10 and added one assist to rank second among MSU defenders in points (3)...Played a critical role for a Maverick defense that posted 11 clean sheets...Earned NSIC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 9 after leading a Maverick back line that posted back-to-back shutouts...Also garnered CoSIDA Academic All-District, Second Team All-NSIC, NSIC All-Touranment Team, NSIC Tournament MVP, NSCAA First Team All-Region, Daktronics Second Team All-Region and Academic All-NSIC honors...Scored her first career goal against Bemidji State on Sept. 16, 2013 and earned a career-high three points off a goal and assist in a 5-1 victory over UMD on Oct. 12, 2013.

2012: Tallied her first career goal in a 5-0 victory over Bemidji State (9/16)...Earned a career-high three points off a goal and an assist in a 5-1 win against Minnesota Duluth (10/12)...Recorded 3-2--8 off 27 shots while starting two of the 23 matches she played in...Selected Academic All-NSIC.

2011: Saw action in all 23 games...Totaled 18 shots as eight landed on net.

High School: Steele was a three-year starter for the Wildcats, helping her team earn a section championship her junior and senior seasons…Was named all-conference all three years and picked to the all-metro and all-state teams her senior season…As captain in her senior season, Steel was named team MVP and tallied 14 goals...In her junior year, she helped lead her team to a 20-3-1 record, finishing third place in the state tournament...Steele was named defensive player of the year all three years as a Wildcat…Not only was she an A honor roll student, Steele was a part of the National Honor Society and Student Ambassadors.
