2023: NSIC Myles Brand Award Winner... NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence... Did not appear in a game.

2022: Appeared in five of Minnesota State’s 22 matches… Had a total of 43 minutes on the field with a season-high of 11 minuets vs. Wayne St…  Also was named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2021: Played in one match for five minutes on Oct. 8 against Upper Iowa at The Pitch.

2020-21: Competed in the Mavericks only official match of the 2021 spring season, March 5 vs. Minot State.

High School: A four-year starter and letterwinner for Mankato West High School, her teams finished a combined 54-4-6 over her last four seasons and won conference three of those four years...As a two-time team captain, she scored five goals and collected 11 assists for 21 points with her best season coming her last year with five goals and two assists...Primarily as a defender, she was selected to all-city and all-conference teams the last two seasons and was an all-state first team selection this season...She participated in the state tournament her last three seasons, which included being the runner-up in 2016. She also started as a defender for Salvo SC the past four seasons, who were the NPL champions in 2019, making it to the national tournament. 

Personal: Daughter of Steve and Katie Rutz. Steve (1994-98) and Karie (1997-99) both attended Minnesota State...Has two siblings, Leia and Emmett...Proposed major is nursing to hope to be a nurse practitioner where she would be involved with Doctors without Borders...Born Dec. 18, 2001.
