Biography
2024-25: Competed in all 11 events for the Mavericks and averaged 78.9 strokes per round…Turned in six top-20 finishes, including eighth place finishes at the Mustang Invitational (+4) and the Fall Brawl (+18)…Finished in 10th place at the NSIC Championships with a +22…Shot +23 at the NCAA Central Region Championships to finish 76th…Named to the All-NSIC Second Team and the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and the CSC Academic All-District Team.
2023-24: CSC Academic All-District... Was a Second-Team All-NSIC Selection...Earned medalist honors at the Maverick Invite after a wire-to-wire victory shooting a 73-80--153... For her efforts, she was named the NSIC Golfer of the Week... At the Tracy Lane Memorial Invite, Youngquist finished sixth with a 78-80--158...Youngquist finished third at the CSP-MSU Fall Brawl turning in a 75-77-152... Was tied for fifth at the Watkins Invitational with a 75-73--148... Finished tied for fourth at the Midwest Intercollegiate with a 74-72--146 (+6)... Has played in all four events this spring with her best finish coming at the UIU Spring Invite where she finished ninth with an 83-836--169... Played in every event this spring...For her career she has played 45 rounds and is averaging a 79.4...This year she played in 24 rounds and was second in th team in scoring with a 78.8.
2022-23: Saw action in five tournaments in the fall... Averaged 79.5 over the course of 10 rounds... Shot a season-low 72 at the Golden Bear Classic (Sept. 19)... Finished 3rd at the EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite (Sept. 25) with rounds of 74-78 for a total of 152.... Averaged an 80.1 between fall and spring seasons, the second-best on the squad... Played in five spring events... Shot a 76-69--155 at the Wildcat Classic for her best spring round... Finished with an 82-84-81--247 at the NSIC Championships and was tied for 18th.
Personal: Was an all-conference pick every year in high school (eighth grade thru senior year)... All-State selection as a junior and senior... Academic All-Conference as a senior and Academic All-State as a junior... Qualified for state as a junior... Ms. Minnesota Finalist... 2021 Minnesota Junior PGA Player of the Year... 2021 Minnesota Junior PGA Tournament of Champions winner... Daughter of Lisa and Jeremy Youngquist... Proposed Sports Management major.
