McKayla Armbruster played six seasons of softball with the Faribault High School softball team...As a junior, Armbruster helped guide her team to a state championship, and its first ever Big 9 championship, as she finished with 23 wins and 275 strikeouts, while boasting a 0.90 ERA...She threw a no-hitter to open the state tournament and a one-hit shutout in the state championship game...Received four all-conference selections by the end of her junior season, including four first team honors, to go along with four all-section awards and three All-State honors...As a sophomore and a junior, she received All-State First Team accolades...Armbruster also played three seasons with the Faribault volleyball team and was named to the honor roll and the National Honor Society...Was named Ms. Softball by the Minnesota All Sport Alliance in 2019.
