High School: An infielder/outfielder from Madison Lake, Minn., Lani Schoper has competed in both softball and basketball at Mankato West High School...As a freshman, she helped her team to a conference championship  and a second place finish at the state tournament...She finished her freshman season batting .415 as she claimed all-city and all-conference honors...As a junior Schoper batted .453 and boasted a .514 on base% as she claimed all-city, all-conference and All-State honors...She helped Mankato West finish second in conference and third at the state tournament in 2021.

Personal: Lani's older sister Lexi Schoper competed in both women's basketball (2016-17) and softball (2017-20) at Minnesota State...Lani is the daughter of Matt and Jaime Schoper and she intends to major in business at Minnesota State.
