2012: was named the NSIC Kelly Award winner (Top Senior Female Student-Athlete)…Winner of the MSU Female Athlete Medal of Honor and the Georgene Brock Award (Outstanding Female Student-Athlete) and was also a Maverick Achievement Award Winner…Was a First Team All-Conference pick and was a member of the NSIC Gold Glove Team…Three-time NSIC Pitcher of the Week this season and has won the award five times in her career…Appeared in 38 games this season and started 30, working to a 24-4 record a 1.39 earned run average…Opponents hit .186 against Huettl this season and she struck out 247 batters, while allowing just 53 runs, 40 of which are earned…Worked 202 innings this season…Worked a season-high ten innings in MSU’s win against Minnesota Duluth (2/22), a game in which she also struck out a career-high 20 batters…Opponents hit .115 with two outs against her and .172 with the bases empty…Over the course of her career she was 92-32, owning a 2.30 earned run average, pitching 73 complete games in 125 games started…Owned eight saves and has worked 789.2 innings in her career, striking out 772 batters…Had ten shutouts this year, 25 in her career…Owned two career no-hitters and recorded six one-hitters this season...Named to the NSIC All-Tournament Team last weekend...Was a Third Team NFCA All-American and to the NFCA Central Region First Team...Named 2012 Captial One All-America of the Year, which is the top student-athlete in the country for Division II Softball...NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship award winner.
2011: Named the Elite 88 winner at the NCAA Championships for owning the best grade point average (3.99 in nursing) of the teams at the championships...Was a Capital One Third-Team Academic All-American...Also named Capital One First-Team All-District and Academic All-NSIC...Also named Second-Team All-Region by the NFCA...Was named to the NSIC All-Tournament team and was the NSIC Pitcher of the Week March 14...Led MSU in wins (29), saves (3), innings pitched (221.2), strikeouts (239), appearances (48), games started (38)..Limited opponents to just a .233 batting average and issued just 71 free passes...Her 48 appearances and 38 games started led the NSIC last year...Also finished second in the league in strikeouts (239) and saves (3), third in innings pitched (221.2) and wins (29), ninth in opposing batting average (.233) and tenth in ERA (2.49)... Huettl enters her senior season with 115 pitching appearances, which is eighth in school history...She also stands third in career wins (68), seventh in losses (28), sixth in career innings (587.2), fifth in games started (95), fifth in complete games (58), fifth in career shutouts (15), second in strikeouts (525), fourth in saves (6) and fifth in walks (175).
2010: Was an Academic All-NSIC selection...Was named All-America Scholar-Athlete by the NFCA...Appeared in a team-high 32 games, earning 26 starts....Recorded 16 complete games...Posted 17-10 record to go with a 2.97 earned run average...Struck out 130 batters and issued just 52 walks...Picked up a pair of saves...Made 25 trips to the plate and posted a .200 batting average...Drove in three runs and scored four.
2009: Was named All-America Scholar-Athlete by the NFCA....Selected as a Daktronics All-Region Second Team member...Appeared in 35 games and started 31 as a pitcher...Led MSU in innings pitched (208.1) and strikeouts (156)...Posted a 2.45 earned run average...Allowed opponents to five or less 17 times...Recorded eight games with seven or more strikeouts, including a season-high 12 strikeouts against Wayne State in a 14-inning marathon...Played in 29 games as a hitter and batted .250...Enters the year seventh on the single-season wins chart (22), eighth in innings pitched (208.1), seventh in complete games (24) and seventh in single-season strikeouts (156)...Named the NSIC Pitcher of the Week following MSU’s spring-break trip.

High School: Was a three-year letter winner in softball for Mankato West...Played for West for four seasons... Helped guide the Scarlets to three consecutive Big Nine Championships during her softball career...Batted .405 as a senior and was named First-Team All-Big 9 Conference as a junior and a senior...On the mound as a senior, pitched to an 18-2 record over 156 innings, with a 0.53 earned run average, 190 strikeouts, two no-hitters and one perfect game...As a senior, was named to the Section 2AAA All-Tournament Team, All-State Academic First-Team, All-State Pioneer Press First-Team, All-State Coaches Association Second-Team...Was also selected to play in the All-Star Series...Helped guide Mankato West to a 67-10 record during her prep career...High school teammates with fellow senior Amanda Umhoefer.
