High School: A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Katie Bracken was a starter with the Regina High School softball team for four seasons as a pitcher and an infielder...Bracken helped her team reach at least 25 wins in each of the last three seasons, to go along with a two second-place finishes in conference during her freshman and sophomore seasons and a pair of state championships...Backen also competed with the basketball team for two seasons and the cross country team for one...She was also named to the honor roll and the National Honor Society.
