Goedken was appointed as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance & Student Engagement on July 3, 2025. She also serves the department at Senior Woman Administrator.
The senior woman administrator is the highest-ranking female in each NCAA athletics department or conference office and the purpose of the designation is to promote meaningful representation of women in the leadership and management of college sports.
Goedken began as an operations and compliance intern at Minnesota State in 2019 while enrolled as a graduate student. She has since served as Compliance Coordinator and Academic Advisor in athletic administration. Since 2021, Goedken has also been an Assistant Coach for Maverick softball, starting as a Student Assistant Coach in 2020. She held the role of Teaching Assistant from 2019-21, where she coordinated 12 online coaching and officiating courses with students and professors.
In her role, Goedken is responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the athletic department compliance program. She will also be tasked with academic support and be a student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) liaison.
Goedken received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Business Administration from Wartburg College in 2019, where she was a four-year letterwinner as a softball student-athlete and two-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete. She earned a Master of Arts in Sport Management from MSU in 2021 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting.
Prior to her time with the Mavericks, Goedken served as an assistant coach at Regina High School in Iowa City, Iowa, from 2016-2019 and as interim head coach for the 2020 season. She helped lead Regina to three state tournament appearances, which included a Class 2A state title in 2017 and two Class 2A state runner-up finishes in 2016 and 2018.
