Emmanuel Dixon joined the Minnesota State men's and women's track and field coaching staff in the summer of 2026 as an assistant coach.
Prior to returning to Minnesota State, Dixon served as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Barton Community College (2021-26). He helped lead the team to a pair of the NJCCA national championships in 2024 and 2026. His team also saw 24 student-athlete claim national championships, while 19 finished second. In total, BCC saw its student-athletes claim 243 All-American performances.
Before arriving at Barton Community College, Dixon served as an assistant coach at Indian Hills Community College (2019-21). While at Indian Hills, Dixon helped coach 16 All-Americans as his team went on to claim three NJCCA Region XI championships.
While at Southwest Oklahoma State (2017-19), Dixon served as an assistant coach. In total, 17 student-athletes claimed all-conference honors as they set 20 school records.
Dixon earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science at Minnesota State, before completing his master's degree in sports management at Southwester Oklahoma State.
