Biography

As a Maverick: Four-time letterwinner (2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20)...Completed college career with 45-87--132 in 152 career games to rank sixth on Minnesota State's career scoring list.

2019-20: 2019-20 All-WCHA Second Team...Ranked second on the Mavericks in scoring with 14-23--37...Led Minnesota State with 113 shots on goal...Ranked second on the team with six power play markers and three game-winning tallies tied for second...Scored twice and assisted on another in 7-1 home win over Alaska Anchorage Nov. 22...Had three assists in 5-1 win at Ferris State Jan. 11...Had two goals and an assist in 10-0 home win over Alabama Huntsville Feb. 21.

2018-19: 2018-19 All-WCHA Second Team...Recorded 14 goals and 26 assists for 40 points and saw action in 36 games...Led Minnesota State with 26 assists and ranked second on team in points...Posted two three-point games, vs. Alaska on Oct. 26 (0-3--3), and vs. Ferris State on Nov. 16 (1-2--3)...Scored three goals and assisted on 18 tallies on the Maverick power play during 2018-19...Picked up Three Star of the Year Award at team's end-of-the-year banquet.

2017-18: Saw action in all 40 games sophomore campaign...9-28--37 on the season ranked fifth on the team scoring charts...Fifth on the team with 103 shots on goal and tied for fourth on the team power play goal lead with five...Had a goal and two assists in 5-2 win at Alaska Anchorage (Jan. 5)...Had a goal and two assists (assisted on GWG) in 3-2 overtime victory at Alabama Huntsville (Feb. 9).

2016-17:  Three-time WCHA Rookie of the Week honoree during course of season...Finished year with 8-10--18 and played in all 39 games in debut season with Mavericks...Had a goal and three assists, along with 10 shots on goal, in earning WCHA Rookie of the Week honors for his role in Minnesota State’s two wins over St. Cloud State (Oct. 14-15)...Named WCHA Rookie of the Week following Minnesota State’s two games vs. Lake Superior State Jan. 27-28...Tallied first career game-winning goal when he scored Minnesota State’s third goal in 4-2 victory over the Lakers.  Also scored at 3:52 of second overtime session in three-on-three action as the Mavericks claimed WCHA point in 2-2 overtime tilt...Had a four-point weekend on a goal and three assists in the series vs. Northern Michigan with 1-3--4 (Feb. 17-18)...Had two goals and two assists for four-point weekend in sweep over Alaska in WCHA semi-final series (March 3-4)...Picked up Three Star of the Year Award at team's end-of-the-year banquet.

THE TUOMIE FILE: Team captain for Sioux Falls (USHL) in 2015-16 where he registered 30-24--54 in 59 games and ranked seventh in the league in goals and 11th in points...Garnered 2015-16 All-USHL Third Team honors...Helped Stampede to Clark Cup title as 2014-15 USHL play-off champions...Member of German U20 team that played at 2015 World Junior Championship...Named to NAHL All-Rookie Team after racking up 24-25--49 in 49 games with Wenatchee in 2013-14...Led German U18 league in scoring and was named DNL Player of the Year after totalling 26-46--72 in 36 games with Jangadler Mannheim in 2012-13...Father, Tray, played collegiately at Wisconsin and professionally in Germany.
