THE BUCHANAN FILE: Three-year veteran of the British Columbia Hockey League...Totalled 6-41--47 career totals in 180 games of junior hockey...Forged 1-15--16 in 59 regular season games in 2011-12 with Penticton where the Vees, who were ranked #1 in Canada for most of the 2011-12 season, claimed the BCHL Interior Conference regular season title, the BCHL play-off Championship, the Western Canadian Championship (Doyle Cup) and the Canadian national junior A title.  Penticton had a record-setting 42-game winning streak this year...Spent the 2010-11 and 2009-10 seasons with Victoria, also of the BCHL...Had a 4.00 grade point average in high school.
