2021-22: Hobey Baker Top 10 finalist...Led the Mavericks and ranked second in the nation in scoring with 19-21--50 in 38 games played...Albany Regional All-Tournament Team...GWG in 1-0 over Notre Dame in Regional Championship game...2021-22 CCHA Forward of the Year....First Team All-CCHA...Spent three weeks in China at the 2022 Winter Olympics with the U.S. men’s national team (1-1--2 in 4 GP. Had GWG in win over Germany)...2x CCHA Forward of the Month...3x CCHA Forward of the Week..14 multiple-point games over course of season.

2020-21:  All-WCHA Second Team selection...Ranked second on the team in scoring with 9-16--25...16 assists ranked second on the team...Scored twice in NCAA Frozen Four semi-final game vs. St. Cloud State (April 8)...Named to Frozen Four All-Tournament Team...Tallied game-winning goal in 4-0 victory over Bowling Green (Feb. 5), then had two assists (including one on GWG) in 5-1 win over the Falcons the next night (March 6)...Had GWG in 2-1 home win over Michigan Tech (March 5)... 2020-21 WCHA All-Academic.

2019-20:  2019-20 WCHA All-Rookie Team...Appeared in 35 games in first year of college hockey...Registered 9-18--27, 52 shots on goal, was +10 with 161 face-off wins...Scored two power play goals and added one game-winning tally on the season...Scored in overtime in lifting Mavericks to 3-2 win at Bowling Green (Jan. 18)...Three-time WCHA Rookie of the Week...Had 1-3--4 in 4-4 overtime tie vs. North Dakota Oct. 18-19...Had 1-2--3 as Mavericks swept Minnesota Duluth Nov. 29-20...Had 0-2--2 in two wins Lake Superior State Dec. 6-7.

THE SMITH FILE: Selected in the third round (91st overall) by Winnipeg in 2018 National Hockey League entry draft (rights traded to Arizona in 2022)...Spent two seasons with Cedar Rapids of USHL where he led the RoughRiders in scoring with 18 goals and 35 assists for 53 points in 59 games in 2018-19...Had 17-30--47 in 51 games in first season with Cedar Rapids in 2017-18... Named to U.S. Junior Select Team for World Junior A Challenge (11/17/17)...Product of Tampa (Fla.)
